Print Logic cook up funds for local charity!
Print Logic are proud to announce our charity for the year 2019, Wirral Society for the Blind and Partially Sighted.
Over the course of 2019, Print Logic will be undertaking a series of fundraising events to help support WSBPS in any way we can. Our first event took place just before the end of 2018 and was a big hit with all members of the team.
Last December, Print Logic staff held a joint Christmas Jumper – Bake Off event at our former national headquarters premises in Birkenhead. All staff were encouraged to come to work wearing their very best Christmas jumpers, as well as an invitation to show off their baking skills for a bake-off competition.
Every department from Print Logic took part in the bake-off, and there was a wide range of cakes, cookies and treats on offer. Highlights included Paul Burke’s (representing the sales team) cupcakes, Service Manager Dan Smith’s giant Bakewell tart, and Customer Service Baking Specialist, James Sheldrake’s, humungous chocolate cake.
In a true British Bakeoff (and tense) judging ceremony conducted by our head of accounts (local cake enthusiast Paul Hollywood was contacted but sadly couldn’t commit), judged James’s enormous chocolate cake to be the winner, with Paul Burke’s cupcakes coming in as a close second.
Here are some pictures from the event, the first of many charity event’s to take place for our charity of the year, Wirral Society for the Blind and Partially Sighted.
