The Positivitree lands an amazing new photocopier
All companies have an impact on the environment and the communities in which they operate. As such it is imperative that they try to both mitigate the impact they have and that they try to give back a little to the community. Print Logic is committed to trying to do its best for both.
Refurbished Photocopiers
Photocopiers that are returned after up to five years of hard labour are, by many companies, sent to the scrap heap. However, we believe in a cyclical economy and refurbish 90% of all machines that return to us.
Every photocopier that undergoes this procedure is completely refurbished from the inside out, giving it a new lease of life.
Many of these machines are earmarked for the charity sector. We handpick smaller charities and community interest companies (CIC) that need a boost and look to create a partnership. Charities that are at the start of their journey or wouldn’t otherwise be able to justify the expense of a professional quality machine, can benefit from a fully refurbished photocopier. We can provide them with the ability to create vibrant colourful literature to promote their cause.
Empowering parent-carers
We recently had the opportunity to visit a fantastic local charity, The Positivitree.
They are based on the Wirral (in the beautiful Vale Park) and help the parent-carers of children with additional health or care needs with self-care tools and experiences that improve wellbeing. They understand the pressure that parent-carers can be under and the strain on their lives.
We met with Rachel and Annie from The Positivitree, two fantastically driven people who have themselves had to cope with caring for children with additional care needs.
In The Positivitree’s own words, “The biggest challenge for parent-carers is finding time to focus on their wellbeing as they juggle parental responsibilities, complex caring responsibilities, work and running a household. We recognise that to address their needs we must offer a flexible service that’s accessible and led by the individual’s needs.”

They provide several valuable events and activities that are tailored around the responsibilities and time constraints of parent-carers. These include workshops, online groups, coffee mornings and weekly yoga sessions.
